The Plumber at Emirates Park Zoo &
Resort is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all plumbing
systems within the zoo and resort premises. This includes ensuring that water
supply, drainage, and sanitation systems are functioning properly, while
adhering to safety standards and regulations. The plumber will work to prevent
plumbing issues, carry out repairs promptly, and ensure a smooth operation of
daily activities within the zoo and resort facilities.<\/span>
<\/p> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3>Responsibilities:<\/span>
<\/h3>- Install,
repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, water supply systems, drainage
systems, and fixtures within the zoo and resort facilities
(Staff accommodations, hotel, chalet, green area irrigation, ZOO
bathrooms, swimming pools, animal pools and aquarium)<\/span>.
<\/li> - Inspect
plumbing systems for leaks, clogs, or faulty components and carry out
repairs in a timely manner.
<\/li> - Maintain
the overall cleanliness and functionality of plumbing infrastructure
across the park, guest accommodations, restaurants, and other resort
amenities.
<\/li> - Diagnose
plumbing issues and determine the cause of problems to ensure efficient
and cost -effective repairs.
<\/li> - Respond
to urgent plumbing issues, such as blocked drains, leaking pipes, or water
pressure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guest services.
<\/li> - Repair
or replace plumbing fixtures and fittings, such as taps, showers, toilets,
water heaters, and pumps.
<\/li> - Install
new plumbing systems, such as piping, valves, and drainage systems, for
new developments or upgrades to existing facilities.

with the project team to install plumbing systems during new construction,
renovations, or system expansions.
<\/li> - Conduct
regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks on plumbing systems
to avoid unexpected failures and maintain optimal operation.

that all plumbing systems comply with local building codes and health and
safety regulations.

plumbing support for the operational needs of the zoo and resort,
including animal enclosures, public restrooms, restaurants, hotels, and
other guest facilities.

closely with the maintenance team to ensure all plumbing -related concerns
are addressed quickly and professionally.

with emergency plumbing issues that may arise during daily operations,
ensuring minimal disruption to guest activities.

an inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and parts required for repairs
and installations.
<\/li> - Monitor
stock levels and report any shortages or the need for new tools and
supplies to the Maintenance Supervisor.

to all safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and health standards
while performing plumbing tasks.

appropriate safety gear and ensure plumbing tasks are conducted in a safe
manner to prevent accidents or damage.

accurate records of plumbing tasks, including inspections, repairs, and
maintenance work carried out.

major plumbing issues and completed works to the Maintenance Supervisor,
including updates on ongoing projects and repairs.

<\/p> - High
school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in plumbing
is preferred.

experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial or resort environment.

with a variety of plumbing systems and fixtures, including water treatment
systems, drainage, and pumps.
