Animal Care & Handling<\/b>

Safely handle, restrain, and move dogs and cats of various
sizes and temperaments.

Feed pets according to individual dietary requirements and
maintain feeding schedules.

Groom and bathe animals as needed, ensuring they remain clean,
comfortable, and well -cared for.

Observation & Monitoring<\/b>

Monitor dogs and cats for signs of illness, distress, or
unusual behaviour.

Record daily notes on feeding, health checks, and activities,
and promptly report concerns to supervisors or veterinary staff.

Health & Safety<\/b>
<\/p>
Administer basic first aid or medications under the direction
of a veterinarian, if required.
<\/li>
Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and
disinfecting<\/b> enclosures, play areas, and equipment regularly.
<\/li>
Follow established safety protocols to minimize risks to
animals, staff, and visitors.

Customer Interaction & Communication<\/b>
<\/p>
Greet pet owners, answer questions, and provide updates on
their pets’ well -being in a friendly, professional manner.
<\/li>
Communicate any health or behavioural issues to pet owners and
management as necessary.
<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
Team Collaboration<\/b>
<\/p>
Work closely with fellow handlers, receptionists, and
veterinary professionals to ensure each pet’s overall well -being.
<\/li>
Assist in enrichment activities (e.g., play sessions,
socialisation) that promote positive behaviour and reduce stress.
<\/li>
Coordinate with management regarding supply needs, scheduling,
and facility upkeep.

Enclosure & Facility Maintenance<\/b>
<\/p>
Perform daily cleaning and disinfection<\/b> of dog runs, cat
kennels, and all pet hotel facilities to maintain a hygienic
environment for pets, staff, and visitors.
<\/li>
Inspect all areas regularly to ensure they are safe, secure,
and free of hazards.
<\/li>
Report any damaged equipment or areas in need of repair to
supervisors promptly.
<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
Transportation Support (If Applicable)<\/b>
<\/p>
Occasionally assist with pick -up or drop -off pets, ensuring
safe and comfortable travel in accordance with facility guidelines.

Requirements<\/h3>
Experience:<\/b> Prior experience working with animals (especially
dogs and cats) in a kennel, pet hotel, shelter, or veterinary setting
is preferred.
<\/li>
Education:<\/b> High school diploma or equivalent; additional
training or certification in animal care is a plus.
<\/li>
Skills:<\/b>
Strong understanding of canine and feline behaviour, handling
techniques, and safety procedures.
<\/li>
Basic knowledge of administering medications and first aid to pets.
<\/li>
Excellent communication and customer service skills for
interacting with pet owners.
<\/li>
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast -paced environment.

Physical Requirements:<\/b>
Comfortable lifting, handling, and restraining animals of
various sizes (up to 25 kg or more).

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for
extended periods.
