Job Summary:<\/span><\/b> The Educator at World Butterfly Park is
responsible for developing and delivering educational programs and activities
that engage visitors of all ages in learning about butterflies, their habitats,
and conservation efforts. This role involves creating interactive and
informative experiences, collaborating with other staff to enhance the
educational impact of the park, and fostering a deeper appreciation for
butterflies and their ecosystems.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>

Program Development and Delivery:<\/span><\/b>
<\/li>Design and implement
educational programs, workshops, and activities for diverse audiences,
including school groups, families, and general visitors.<\/span>
<\/li>Create engaging and
interactive learning experiences that highlight butterfly biology,
ecology, and conservation.<\/span>
<\/li>Develop curriculum and
educational materials aligned with current scientific knowledge and best
practices in environmental education.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Visitor Engagement:<\/span><\/b>
<\/li>Conduct guided tours,
presentations, and demonstrations for park visitors.<\/span>
<\/li>Answer questions and
provide information about butterflies, plants, and the park's ecosystems.<\/span>

educational displays and exhibits throughout the park.<\/span>

partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and other educational

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>

Bachelor’s degree in education,
Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field (Master's degree
preferred).<\/span>
<\/li>Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in
environmental education, teaching, or a related field.<\/span>
<\/li>Strong knowledge of butterfly biology,
ecology, and conservation.<\/span>
<\/li>Excellent communication and presentation
skills.<\/span>
<\/li>Ability to create engaging and
interactive educational experiences.<\/span>
<\/li>Experience working with diverse
audiences, including children and adults.<\/span>
<\/li>Strong organizational and planning
skills.<\/span>

Full -time position with occasional
weekend and evening work required.<\/span>
