We are looking for a proactive and
detail -oriented <\/span>HR Assistant <\/span><\/b>to support the day -to -day operations of the
Human Resources department.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
The ideal candidate
will assist in HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee records
management, and employee engagement activities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
This role is vital in
ensuring smooth communication and effective administration within the HR
function.<\/span><\/span>

Duties & Responsibilities: <\/span><\/i><\/b>

<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with the recruitment
process: posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with
candidates.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate the onboarding process
for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and system access.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain accurate employee
records in HR systems and personnel files.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintains and generates monthly
reports on headcount, renewal, new joiners, vacation, absents etc.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Applying and acquiring Visa’s in
co -ordination with PRO and working closely with PRO in immigration and labour
related matters<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Visa renewals for existing
Employees and coordinate with the typing center for all visa and quota
related activities in regulations with PRO’s<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Sends schedules and reminders via
cc mail regarding: medical exam for new employees and food handlers and bank
account openings and other related issues.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Responsible for system encoding
and approvals for the following transactions: new employee data, HR staff
attendance.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinates and follows -up
travel, airport pickup, visa deposit and accommodation bookings for incoming
employees and resigning/terminated employees with Housing Supervisor and
Facility department<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conducts spot checks and room
inspection once of Employee Accommodation with the Housing Supervisor to
check the areas/rooms that need improvement and repair. Prepares report to
the Human Resources Manager on the result of the inspection<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collecting & checking of
attendance sheet of every department before finalization of salary<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Initiated and coordinated for
various employee engagement programs like, Indoor Games, Annual Staff, Reward
and Recognition programs etc<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Screens, interviews candidates
and arranges suitable candidate interviews with HO<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Tracks personnel requisitions and
ensures vacant positions are filled as per specification.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensures every new joiner receives
a JD on the first day of joining and a signed copy is place in the employee
file<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitors headcount and keeps the HRM
briefed of changes.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepares offer letters, and
ensures that they are in compliance with EPZ Salary Structure and Benefits.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinates with the Recruitment
Agencies and the applicants themselves regarding the status and arrivals of
the applicants.<\/span>
<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supports the line managers during
performance appraisal system and documentation.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conducts Orientation for incoming
General Staff/ Senior Officers/Managers with regards to basic issues (general
EPZ policies, benefits, forms, insurance policy, code of conduct, etc.)<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Performs other tasks as may be
assigned by the Human Resources Manager from time to time.<\/span>

various HR monthly reports, relevant to the Planning and Higher Management.<\/span>

analysis on the New Hire, Departmental Visa costs and all other reports.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Generate Promotion
Letters, Warning Letters, Termination Letters, Experience certificates, Salary
Certificates, Salary Transfer Letters, and NOCs etc.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Memos or Notices
on Public Holidays or any special announcement.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Daily Cash
Handling (Petty Cash)<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Communicate
effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Handles difficult
situations effectively.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Attends meetings
and training required by management.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Accepts flexible
planned work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Zoo guests.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
<\/span>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
related field.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> <\/span>1–3 years of experience in an HR support role preferred.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> <\/span>Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> <\/span>Excellent organizational and time management skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> <\/span>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> <\/span>High level of discretion and professionalism.<\/span>
