As a member of the regional Finance team, the Service Controller is a key finance anchor point and trusted advisor of finance matters for the Service organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform controlling activities concerning sales and contract execution phase
- Support month-end finance processes under Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and ensure timely and accurate closure of the financial statements to the region and group
- Monitor the actual performance of the business cluster, focusing on deviations compared to the planned performance
- Conduct monthly forecasting processes ensuring business accountability and ownership
- Oversee and improve SAP data quality input from the organization
- Act as a gatekeeper of risks concerning Service financials
- Provide and present an executive summary of the performance to the Service Management team, and follow-up on actions
Qualifications
- University degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in project cost controlling, financial analysis, and business performance management, preferably within multinational companies
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Experience in the POC (percentage of completion) accounting method is an asset
- Experienced user of SAP, SAP/BI or SAP HANA
- Experience in using data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC) is advantageous
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Other languages are beneficial

- Good communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- You have a curious mind, solid investigative abilities and enjoy diving into data and analysis
- You are organized, self-motivated and able to deliver on deadlines
