Purpose of the Role
- Work as part of the Investment team across the entire energy chain, with a particular focus on renewables
- Assist the company through its energy transition journey by expanding its footprint in green assets (renewables, cleaner fuels, carbon credits, e-mobility, etc)
- Support the overall trading activity through execution of strategic investments & financing globally
- Work closely with other departments of BB Energy, including trading, risk, finance, operations, legal, and business development
Job Accountabilities
- Assist senior members of the team and management through various stages of negotiation and structuring, from initial head of terms to final agreements
- Undertake detailed assessments (financial, commercial, legal, etc) of a wide range of transactions in various sectors, including financial models, investment committee reports, materials for prospective funders, etc
- Review and closely monitor live transactions, from financial performance to relevant news & events impacting the projects
- Communicate findings effectively both internally & externally
- Prepare necessary materials for senior management and for various stakeholders
- Fully understand and own financial monitoring with ability to explain key dynamics

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or similar discipline
- 2-3+ years working experience in a financial role (structured finance, M&A, advisory, hedge fund, banking, …)
- Experience on structured transactions, investments (equity and/or debt) and/or fund raising
- Very high proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Experience in energy and/or infrastructure is desirable
- French speaker would be beneficial
