The Sustainability & Impact team uses the power of insights, strategic action, and ideas through partnering with our business, employees, and communities to help solve the big societal issues of today and tomorrow, relentlessly improving human experiences, driving business value and bringing to life RBC’s purpose.
As the Manager, Content & Activations, Sustainability & Impact, you will lead the creation and delivery of content, branding and activations that advance RBC’s Sustainability & Impact (S&I) programs. In partnership with our Sustainability and Impact Marketing and Communication partners, you will be responsible for developing and managing the S&I marketing hub, executing community investment storytelling and webcasts, managing the creative asset portfolio, and planning and delivering activations while building awareness around our employee engagement programs. Your work is critical in building awareness of RBC’s Purpose Framework, strengthening relationships with non-profit partners, and driving impactful brand and societal outcomes.
What will you do?
- Lead and accelerate the creation, optimization and delivery of Sustainability & Impact content, branding and activations in traditional and digital channels – developing internal and external website content, managing the centralized S&I marketing hub (comms toolkits, resources, ads, videos, promotional materials), and building the creative asset portfolio in partnership with the brand team on visual identity.
- Leverage centralized Sustainability & Impact content development and delivery to drive value through an always-on content and communications approach – creating resources for community investment partners, driving storytelling through webcasts and publications, and maintaining relevant information on RBC websites for non-profit partners.
- Lead RBC Sustainability & Impact activations end-to-end (planning, scheduling, coordinating, implementing, evaluating and reporting), creating meaningful engagement opportunities for employees, clients and partners in alignment with the overall RBC Sustainability & Impact vision.
- Support Employee Program Strategy including employee awareness campaigns, planning and executing inclusion global employee events
- Manage third-party recognition processes (how charities and partners recognize RBC), including required Legal, Comms and Brand reviews, ensuring all partner materials and resources are aligned with the overall content strategy and vision for Sustainability & Impact.

Must-have:
- Strong creative and design sensibilities
- Experience in social, digital, and content production
- Ability to compellingly communicate a brand’s story through multiple formats
- Technological knowledge of tools and resources essential for content design and creation
- Idea generator who is proactive in seizing opportunities
- A demonstrated interest in driving social change through business
- A “people person” with demonstrated ability to create and maintain a network of stakeholders, internally and externally, and at all levels
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve detailed challenges and/or complex issues
- Undergraduate degree and/or diploma
