Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in solar PV projects to lead and manage procurement activities across multiple renewable energy projects. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier reliability, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for solar PV projects (C&I).
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and BOS components.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure performance, quality, and compliance.
- Lead tendering and contract negotiation processes.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks within the renewable energy sector.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
- Manage logistics coordination, import/export processes, and inventory planning.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in solar or renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV components and global supplier markets.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Familiarity with EPC environments and project-based procurement.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
