Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer in Franklin, TN.
Job Description: Design and build innovative solutions to a broad range of data, analytic, and application topics in an Agile development team. Design, build, and operate robust and scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch data. Automate data sets for analytical consumption. Create and maintain optimized cloud-based infrastructure. Re-architect and re-platform legacy data pipelines. Design and manage databases. Perform technical requirement gathering with continuous interaction with Business Analysts. Deploy scalable data pipelines on the cloud and unit testing the pipelines.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in software engineering, data analysis, data engineering, software development, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Data analysis, risk analysis and handling of data quality issues; Design of data pipelines and warehouses using data Warehousing solutions (Redshift, Presto, Greenplum); Monitoring and triaging issues in an ETL process; Database design using SQL development language; and Data pipelines leveraging Python, Scala, and/or Java.
