We are looking for
a M&A and Project Finance Intern<\/b> to support the team in the analysis of new investment opportunities and
financing solutions across different renewable energy technologies, including
solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, and BESS. Working across the M&A
and Project Finance teams, this person will be based in Milan (with the
possibility of hybrid remote working).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/div>What you’ll do:<\/span><\/u>
<\/p>
Support the M&A and Project Finance teams in the analysis and execution
of sell -side, buy -side and partnership transactions, contributing to different
phases of the process under the supervision of senior team members.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Assist in the preparation, update and review of financial models for
M&A, project valuation and project finance purposes, including sensitivity
analyses and scenario assessments.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support the analysis of investment opportunities across different renewable
energy technologies, contributing to the assessment of project economics, key
value drivers and potential risks.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Contribute to market research and benchmarking activities related to new
geographical markets and emerging business models.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Assist in the preparation of internal presentations, investment memos and
supporting materials for decision -making processes.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support the team in collecting, organizing and analysing financial,
technical and commercial information related to projects in development,
construction and operation.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Contribute to project finance and debt -related
activities by supporting data collection, documentation review and analysis of
financing structures under the guidance of senior colleagues.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
What you’ll need: <\/span><\/u>
<\/p>
Excellent academic background with a
degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management Engineering
(degrees in STEM are also suitable, if accompanied with background in economics
or finance);<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Previous experience in consulting, investment
banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, corporate M&A, project
finance or the energy sector will be considered a plus;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Basic understanding of corporate finance,
valuation principles and financial modelling;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
and PowerPoint;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Good analytical and quantitative skills, with
strong attention to detail;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Excellent verbal and written
communication skills in Italian and English. Another European language would be
a plus;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, work
collaboratively with different teams and take ownership of assigned activities
with a proactive attitude.<\/span>
