Galileo is a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>fast -growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator<\/span><\/b>, currently in the very dynamic start -up phase. Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over <\/span>16 GW<\/b> <\/span>of <\/span>solar<\/b> <\/span>PV, <\/span>onshore wind<\/b>, <\/span>offshore wind<\/b> <\/span>and <\/span>storage<\/b> <\/span>projects across <\/span>10 markets<\/b> <\/span>in Europe.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to support our Italian BD team in the coordination and delivery of various workstreams related to the development of Wind, Solar and Battery projects in Italy. You’ll be based in <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Milan<\/b> (with the possibility of hybrid remote working), reporting to the Business Development Manager.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

What you’ll do:<\/span><\/u>
<\/p>

Support the Business Development Team to advance the permitting process of the current pipeline by managing project documentation and all administrative steps;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support the interaction with external stakeholders, e.g. with public administrations, landowners, or with the Transmission or Distribution System Operators;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Carry out research and analysis into new and existing markets <\/span><\/a>and competitors, also by supporting the analysis of new development opportunities;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support in the preparation of internal decision materials;<\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/span>Maintain and extend your professional qualifications and skillset as needed to adapt to our expanding business focus and needs.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

What you’ll need<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
<\/p>

Undergraduate or fresh graduate in a Master’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Economics, Law, or a related field.<\/span>
<\/li>A desire and a passion to contribute to the energy transition with a pan -European focus by joining a company looking to develop renewable projects across different markets.<\/span>
<\/li>Native or very fluent Italian and at least good English.<\/span>
<\/li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, discretion in treating with confidential information.<\/span>
<\/li>Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/span>
<\/li>A pro -active attitude towards work in general.<\/span>
<\/li>Team player, with cultural awareness and curiosity, willing to work with other functions and members of the Business Development team on joint initiatives.<\/span>
