Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 16 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across 10 markets in Europe.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering activities for PV and BESS
projects in Italy from greenfield technical development through post -permitting,
detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover. This person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the EPC Director.

What you’ll do

Lead the definition of electrical design concepts
and requirements (BoD/SoW, Employer’s Requirements, technical
specifications) supporting tendering, contracting, and execution.

Cover the full electrical scope across the plant and
grid interface, from development stage up to construction, including:
- DC and AC design concepts for PV and BESS (collection systems, aux supplies,
control/communication interfaces)
- MV and HV systems, including substation and grid -connection interfaces (primary/secondary systems coordination as applicable)
- Contribute to grid studies and assessments (e.g.,
short -circuit, load flow, harmonics, flicker, protection coordination),
coordinating consultants/third parties when needed.
- Review design deliverables (SLDs, protection &
control schemes, substation/cabin layouts, cable schedules, grounding/earthing,
lighting, auxiliary services
- Protection, metering, grounding/earthing, lightning
protection and electrical safety concepts

Ensure compliance with Italian grid codes and
relevant standards (e.g., CEI/IEC), and support grid -connection activities
in collaboration with the Grid team (DSO/TERNA interface).

Coordinate and/or review electrical deliverables
from EPC contractors, consultants and suppliers; challenge design
choices to ensure quality, constructability, cost effectiveness and risk
mitigation.

Support procurement by evaluating technical
offers, clarifying vendor proposals, and contributing to supplier selection for
key electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, MV switchgear, inverters/PCS,
protection systems).

Provide technical support during construction,
including RFI management, site inspections, NCR resolution, FAT/SAT
participation (as needed), and commissioning documentation review.

Manage technical risks and electrical interfaces
between packages (PV/BESS/Wind, substation, grid compliance, SCADA).

Promote best practices for
electrical safety, quality and document traceability.

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering
standards, templates, and ways of working across the EPC organization.

Depending on
experience and availability, support similar activities for wind projects.
