We are currently looking for a PV Monitoring Analyst.
Main responsibilities:
- Real time and historical data analyze to identify anomalies and performance issues;
- Implement real-time monitoring solutions and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Condict in depth data analysis to identify different factors affecting performance. Develop algorithms and models to predict system performance identifying optimization opportunities;
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to detect faults, and optimize system performance;
- Identify and diagnose faults or anomalies in PV systems, such as equipment malfunctions, wiring issues, or performance degradation. Work closely with field technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner;
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarizing PV system performance, including energy production, downtime events, and maintenance activities;
- Maintain accurate documentation of monitoring data, analysis results, and maintenance records;
- Stay informed about the latest developments in PV technology, monitoring software, and data analysis techniques;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or innovation to enhance monitoring and analysis capabilities;
- Participate in sessions and workshops to explore new ideas and approaches for PV system monitoring and data analysis.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field;
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB;
- Familiarity with PV monitoring software platforms (e.g., SCADA,) and data visualization tools;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset;
- Knowledge of solar energy industry standards, regulations, and best practices is a plus;.
- Excellent command of English - written and spoken.
