What you will be doing
- Support safe and efficient material distribution and relocation activities using mobile equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes to meet production, safety, and quality objectives.
- Operate material handling equipment in accordance with all safety policies and procedures, completing required inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Conduct visual inspections of materials to verify product quality, correct packaging, and accurate identification.
- Empty scrap and chip hoppers as required to maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous operations.
- Perform routine, minor maintenance checks on forklifts, including brakes, horn, fluid levels, and general condition.
- Accurately complete and submit daily lift truck inspection reports.
What will make you successful?
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of previous forklift operating experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
