Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.
Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.
The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.
Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

Working an 8 days on 6 days off roster, the focus of this role is:
- To support and continually improve environmental performance within Bellevue Projects.
- To drive a consistent approach to the management and application of environmental management processes.
- To work with site management to pro-actively identify and manage environmental risks.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental approvals, licences and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in achieving the environmental objectives of the departmental business plan.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System. This will include monitoring compliance within the system.
- Work closely and collaborate with other Bellevue Gold personnel within the immediate team and across the business to promote environmental awareness.
- Manage and ensure compliance with all site licences and approvals.
- Prepare environmental reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote and support Environmental Processes across the site and provide environmental advice to personnel.
- Develop and lead the site based Environmental Team
- Assist with environmental incident investigations and reporting.
- Development of Scope of Works, approval and management of all consultants undertaking Environmental Studies on site.
- Develop and present training and information material on environmental aspects.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver key environmental compliance for the operations.
- Conduct inspections and audits of site facilities, processes and contractors to facilitate continuous improvement in environmental management.
- Ensure monitoring and measurement activities are undertaken in accordance with Bellevue Gold’s environmental commitments and compliance register.
- Record, maintain and analyse data and other information for use in the compilation of statutory and corporate reporting requirements to ensure deliverables are achieved.
- Ensure compliance to and management of aboriginal heritage issues as required, including but not limited to the Cultural Heritage Management Plan in place.
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in a similar role (Mining preferred)
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications, Environmental Science Degree (or equivalent)
- Highly skilled written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and independently
- Experience in working with relevant Government Departments
- Ability to independently develop and implement environment management strategies
- WA Drivers licence, C Class
- 4WD and working in remote locations experience
- Self-sufficient and well organised (able to coordinate personal tasks)
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with site teams and contractors
- Experience with coordinating consultants
- Experience with, and strong understanding of Environmental legislation (state and federal)
- Computer literacy with MS Excel and MS Word and GIS (QGIS) programs as a preference
