The company is looking for an experienced and motivatedElectrical Design Engineerto participate in the design of photovoltaic (PV) power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The role includes developing detailed electrical engineering designs and projects for the electrical part of renewable energy system installations and facilities, performing power system studies, and author supervision. Work in a young and dynamic engineering team in a technology company that is a market leader in Europe. Participation in high-profile and most significant energy projects in the country and abroad.
Main responsibilities:
• Conducting site inspections, preliminary feasibility assessments, and preliminary engineering studies of sites, structures, and electrical installations;
• Design electrical installations and networks for PV plants, BESS, and МV networks;
• Performing electrical calculations and specifying equipment materials for the project;
• Prepare detailed technical documentation for the electrical part of projects;
• Design low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) distribution networks;
• Develop technical concepts for photovoltaic parks and battery energy storage systems;
• Model power systems and analyze their operating modes.
Your profile:
• Professional Designer’s Certificate (PPC) is considered an advantage;
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer (experience with PV systems is an advantage);
• Higher technical education in the electrical engineering field (Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment);
• Excellent command of English – written and spoken mandatory;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with PV Syst and PVCase;
• Experience with software for electrical system modeling;
• Good MS Office skills;
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills;
• In-depth knowledge of applicable regulations and standards;
• Solid technical expertise in power facilities and equipment;
• Detailed knowledge of LV and MV installations and local standards and regulations;
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to travel in the country for project visitations.
