Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
and revenue targets Solar business including solar connectors, harnesses thorough
working with Solar Developers, EPCs, Dealers, String Combiner Box
manufacturers, Panel Module manufacturers.
2. Identify and target potential customers and market segments like Solar business
portfolio including solar connectors, harnesses / Solar Junction box Manufacturers,
OEMs to expand the customer base and increase sales. Explore the other potential
products in Solar Segment & co-ordinate with engineering team for development of
the same based on the business case studies.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers,
addressing their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends,
customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
5. Collaborate with the marketing & engineering teams to create effective marketing
campaigns, promotional material, and digital content to enhance brand awareness
and generate leads.
6. Provide sales forecasts, market intelligence, and reports to the Management,
highlighting key performance metrics, market trends, and opportunities.
7. Lead and motivate the sales team, setting segment sales targets, monitoring
performance, and providing coaching and support to achieve sales goals.
8. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to establish
the company's presence, build relationships, and generate leads.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Solar industry, including
technological advancements, regulatory changes, and market trends, and
incorporate them into sales and marketing strategies.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product development, operations,
and customer support, to ensure effective product launches, order fulfillment, and
customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
1) Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics. Preferred - MBA in sales
and marketing.
2) Experience of 10-12 years in Solar Industry.
3) Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques
4) Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing plans.
5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
6) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data,
identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
7) Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
8) Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a
sales team to achieve goals.
9) Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
environment.
