We are currently seeking a Battery Materials Process Engineer – Li Metal Anode to lead the material development and process optimization of lithium metal anodes.
What you'll do at ABEE
- Lead the engineering efforts to develop the next generation lithium metal anode
- Operate and optimize large-scale production of lithium metal anode using a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process
- Develop and implement advanced characterization methods to understand physical and chemical properties of lithium metal anodes
- Collaborate with electrochemists to design and implement electrochemical testing protocols for lithium metal anodes, enabling performance feedback and process refinement.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations, with occasional participation in EU funded projects (HORIZON, etc.)
Required qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field
- 5 years of experience in Lithium-ion or Li-metal battery processing
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Effective communication in a multidisciplinary and international team environment.
