Job Purpose:<\/b>

Our client, a leading EPC<\/b> company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Solar PV Project Manager<\/b> to oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience managing large -scale solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/h3>
Project Management:<\/b> Oversee the end -to -end management of solar PV projects, from initial planning to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
<\/li>Technical Oversight:<\/b> Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, designs, and installations for solar PV projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
<\/li>Stakeholder Coordination:<\/b> Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
<\/li>Budget & Schedule Management:<\/b> Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring milestones are met and costs are controlled.
<\/li>Compliance & Safety:<\/b> Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
<\/li>Risk Management:<\/b> Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or issues.
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications & Experience:<\/b>
<\/h3>
Education:<\/b> Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
<\/li>Experience:<\/b> 8+ years of experience in managing large -scale Solar PV<\/b> projects, preferably with an EPC background.
<\/li>Skills & Knowledge:<\/b>Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical engineering principles.
<\/li>Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
<\/li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem -solving skills.
<\/li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in South Africa.
