Introduction

Contract: 12–18 months, with potential for permanent placement

About the Role:
We are seeking a technically skilled Site/Project Engineer to join a high-profile 75MW utility-scale solar PV project. The role is primarily site-based, with travel to our Johannesburg headquarters on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for technical oversight, quality assurance, and construction management, ensuring project milestones are met safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee technical, quality, and construction aspects of the solar PV project.
Ensure compliance with engineering designs, standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate with contractors, IPPs, and EPC teams to maintain project timelines.
Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Proven experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar PV) from an IPP, EPC, or Engineering Design Consultancy.
Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng preferred, minimum BTech).
Strong site management, technical, and quality assurance skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
