Job Description:
As the Project Finance Transactor, you will be responsible for the following:
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate project feasibility, profitability and risk
Design financing structures that align with project objectives, including debt and equity options
Conduct thorough due diligence to assess project viability
Prepare and review all relevant transaction documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure approvals and financing
Lead negotiations with financial institutions and investors to finalize financing terms
Monitor and report on project financial performance post-financing
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, financial performance and potential risks
Skills & Experience:
4-5 years of experience in project finance (preferably within Independent Power Producers or financial institutions)
Proven experience in developing and analyzing financial models
Transaction experience
Qualification:
Qualified CA(SA)
Relevant finance or accounting degree
