Introduction

Our client is a dominant player in the renewable energy sector and is seeking a Engineer with expertise in Operations and Maintenance, as well as tender management, to join their team.

Someone with 3 - 7 years of experience in the commercial solar sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conducting Site Assessments: Evaluate existing facilities to identify operational needs and maintenance requirements.
Evaluating Tender Submissions: Assess bids from contractors and vendors to ensure they meet project requirements and budget constraints.
Developing Maintenance Plans: Create and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
Managing O&M Activities: Oversee daily operations and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align on project goals and requirements.
Monitoring Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of operations and maintenance processes.
Ensuring Compliance: Ensure all operations and maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations and standards.
Conducting Risk Assessments: Identify potential risks in operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Providing Technical Support: Offer guidance and expertise to staff on operational issues and maintenance practices related to electrical systems.
