Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an early-career clinical investigator to join a highly productive academic program and expand our research efforts in environmental factors that impact child lung health. As an instructor, their effort will be dedicated to refining investigative skills and learning innovative tools and technologies that will better define the impact of environmental agents and inhaled toxicants on respiratory biology and physiology in the developing lung. The candidate will work closely and collaborate with investigators at the Center for Environmental Medicine, Asthma and Lung Biology and Marsico Lung Institute. The Division offers an exceptionally collaborative environment for the care of children with various respiratory diseases, provided at the North Carolina Children’s Hospital and other sites in the state. The chosen applicant will be involved in the educational mission, teaching pulmonology fellows, residents, medical and other graduate students, and participate in other scholarly activities. This position is a Clinical Instructor level position on the fixed-term track.
