Starting Rate of pay: $16.26/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: 3rd Shift 11PM to 7AM
Shift Premium: Third Shift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment (e.g., mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools).
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure all safety devices (e.g., guarding) are in place; notify supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns.
- Perform basic set-up on equipment.
- Read and interpret various inspection tools, including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of job assignments on paper and in the computer.
- Conduct quality control checks on work in progress.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience with machinery and in manufacturing a plus.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.) may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Prior machinery experience preferred
- Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes
