Rivian is seeking a creative individual to produce original, multimedia content to celebrate Rivian’s team and tell Rivian’s rich manufacturing story as it unfolds. You’ll leverage your experience in film/video production, photography, writing, social media and digital publishing to proactively pursue content opportunities great and small and bring them to life across relevant channels. You’ll ensure our stories are innovative, authentic and of the highest quality. Based out of our manufacturing plant in Normal, IL, you'll work embedded in different settings, from the plant floor to the local community and well beyond. You’ll be part of Rivian’s creative team and collaborate cross-functionally to keep all storytelling consistent and aligned with Rivian’s overarching narrative and brand strategy. You’ll make work in numerous formats depending on the assignment — short form, long form and everything in-between — evolving rapidly based on how your work performs over time.

- Produce original creative work in film/video and still photography, but also on projects that involve writing, design, digital publishing and social media.
- Help identify and pursue content opportunities aligned with established strategic objectives.
- Work independently as a solo contributor when needed, from first concept to final delivery.
- Conceive, plan, shoot, edit, write, revise, finish and deliver creative projects — you can do it all, or at least want to do it all.
- Collaborate with other creative individuals and map your skillset and approach to the work of the team.
- Work flexibly both on site and in the field, and be willing to travel at short notice if needed.
- Stay curious and commit to a constant process of learning about Rivian’s products, process and team.
- Continuously assess and evolve your overall approach and creative techniques to maximize impact for the work.
- 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, including but not limited to: film/video production, photography, art/design, writing, social media
- Self-motivated with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Wild creativity paired with a practical sensibility and a knack for strategy
- Enthusiasm for (and mastery of) existing and emerging digital platforms, with a demonstrated ability to connect with and build an audience over time
- An insatiable desire to learn and grow
- Confident and at home in Adobe Creative Suite
