Summary
You will serve as a Management Assistant with National Park Service. The position provides staff assistance to the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent and their immediate staff, as well as to the Superintendent of Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park as needed.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Provides administrative support to the park's leadership team by coordinating schedules, meetings, correspondence, travel, and other administrative activities to ensure efficient office operations. Serves as the park's coordinator for the Special Park Uses program by reviewing permit applications, coordinating with applicants and park staff, preparing permits, maintaining program records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Researches, interprets, and applies administrative policies and procedures to resolve issues, respond to inquiries, and provide guidance to employees, partners, and the public. Coordinates special projects, reports, and other administrative initiatives for park leadership by gathering information, tracking assignments, and ensuring timely completion of actions. Serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating communication, coordinating administrative activities, and providing information on park operations and special use permitting.
