▪Oversee and manage projects with complex teams consisting of in-houseprofessional scientists and engineers and strategic teaming partners andsubconsultants.
▪Provideleadershipinmanagingprojectrelatedstaffperformance,andmentoringpersonnelforoverallsuccessofpracticeteam.
▪Inprospectionphase,assesssitetechnicalconstraintsandconsumption,andevaluatefeasibilitystageprojectconfigurations,characteristicsandrisks.
▪Inofferpreparationphase,fullyunderstandcustomer’sneeds,performtechnicalduediligenceofthesite,andoptimizethecommercialofferthroughPVsystemperformance,technicalsolutioncosts,robustnessandquality. Thismayentailrelying onexternalengineeringresources.
▪Prepareandfollow-uplocalapprovalsandregulatoryobligations.
▪Select and on-board suppliers including EPCs and engineering consultants, infull respect of HSE, Quality and compliance guidelines and specifications.Engageincommercialnegotiationsandmaintainrelationships,toensureequipmentandcontractorsareoptimallyand sustainablyprocured.
▪Manageprojectsconstructioncontractorswithfocusonsafety,quality,budgetandplanning.
▪Ensureprojectsreporting,KPIsandmaintainagoodrelationshipforandinbetweenallprojectsstakeholders(includingClient,Contractors,Authorities)
▪Supervisecommissioningandtestingoftheplant,thenmanageoperationandmaintenance,inlinewithsetcontractualobjectives.
▪WorkwiththeengineeringteamtoconductsiteinvestigationandassessthetechnicalfeasibilityofdevelopingaspecificsolarPVproject.
▪Draftthescopeofworkandestimatetherespectiveprojectbudget.
▪Create and distribute RFPs to potential EPC subcontractors, establishevaluationmetrics,andselectwinningproposals.
▪Managecontractnegotiations,changeorders,andotheragreementswithEPCsubcontractorsandvendors,andoverseeallsubcontractors’workinallphases.
▪Developandmaintainprojecttimeline,identifycriticalpathandkey
milestonesforproject’s success.
▪Communicatewithutilitiesandauthorityhavingjurisdictionsregardinginterconnection,permitting,andotherregulatorycomplianceissues.
▪Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventivemeasures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine responseactionstomitigateanynegativeimpact.
▪Possess strong leadership, managerial, organizational and time management
