Job & Company Description:
This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who understands solar PV systems but also knows how to close deals. You will be responsible for engaging clients, designing fit-for-purpose solar solutions, and driving revenue growth while ensuring technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering and sales — advising clients, supporting proposals, and ensuring projects are viable, competitive, and aligned to client needs.
Education:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV or technical sales
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems (inverters, batteries, mounting, etc.)
- Experience with system sizing and proposal development
- Familiarity with design tools (PV*Sol, Helioscope – advantageous)
- Proven track record in client engagement or sales (highly advantageous)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand energy needs and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, system designs, and cost estimates
- Support system sizing, performance calculations, and product selection
- Drive sales opportunities from lead generation to deal closure
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams for execution
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, EPCs, and partners
- Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and regulations
