Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full financial close cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Manage core finance functions, such as cash, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including reconciliations and trial balances
- Take responsibility for cash flow management and treasury activities, including banking relationships
- Prepare detailed financial reports, insights, and performance metrics for senior leadership and Board review
- Handle group consolidations, inter-company transactions, and variance analysis across multiple entities
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Lead the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and strengthen financial controls and risk management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (essential)
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years’ post-articles experience in a similar capacity
- 3–5 years of experience managing and leading a team
- Exposure to group structures or cross-border operations (African experience is advantageous)
- Experience within project-based, construction, or complex inter-company environments is beneficial
