Site Coordinator – E&I
Sustaining Capital Project | FIFO 2:1 | 12+ Month Contract
$122.09/hr Inclusive of Super | 11.5hr Paid Days
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Coordinator – E&I to support sustaining project works.
Working within a live operational mining environment, the role will coordinate electrical and instrumentation activities across shutdown, brownfields and sustaining capital work scopes. The position will work closely with contractors, supervisors, project teams and site stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, in line with schedule and to required quality standards.
The role will be site based on a 2:1 FIFO roster and will support electrical construction, maintenance, commissioning and project execution activities across operational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day E&I activities across sustaining and project work scopes

Interface with contractors, supervisors, operations and project stakeholders

Coordinate permits, isolations and safe execution of works within live plant environments

Monitor contractor performance, progress and compliance with site procedures

Support commissioning, energisation and project handover activities

Review and coordinate QA/QC documentation including ITRs, inspections and completion records

Coordinate shutdown and brownfields works to minimise operational disruption

Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and Australian standards

Participate in pre-starts, toolbox meetings, safety reviews and field inspections

Track defects, punch list items and outstanding works through to close out
Requirements

Section 26 Statutory Supervisor certification (mandatory)

WA Electrical Licence (mandatory)

Experience in permit-to-work systems, isolations and live operational environments

Experience coordinating contractors and work crews on site

Experience with QA/QC compliance, inspections and completions documentation

Experience with HV/LV systems, MCCs, switchgear, substations and instrumentation

Strong understanding of mining site safety systems and procedures
Preferred Background
-
Electrical or E&I supervisory/coordinator background

Experience working on sustaining capital, shutdown or brownfields mining projects

Previous experience on Rio Tinto or other major miner sites highly regarded

EPCM, contractor or construction delivery experience advantageous

Experience supporting commissioning and energisation activities preferred
