We’re looking for an Environmental Consultant to Principal Environmental Consultant – Onshore Approvals to join our APAC team in Perth.

What you’ll do
- Prepare environmental approval documentation across key legislation (EPBC Act, WA EP Act, petroleum and pipeline regulations)
- Undertake environmental impact assessments including baseline studies, impact identification and mitigation strategies
- Prepare permit and approval applications and modification documentation
- Develop and implement environmental management and monitoring plans
- Scope and coordinate fieldwork for terrestrial and aquatic environments
- Prepare HSE management plans and risk assessments
- Lead project delivery including approvals and environmental scopes
- Conduct inspections, audits and compliance activities
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, Natural Resource Management or similar
- Extensive experience in environmental consulting or similar roles
- Strong experience preparing State and Commonwealth environmental approvals (EP Act Part IV & V, EPBC referrals, EMPs)
- Proven ability to manage projects, clients and teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Experience working with regulators such as EPA, DWER, DMIRS and DCCEEW
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and technical writing skills
- Business development mindset and ability to build professional networks
- Ability to manage multiple projects across varying scale and complexity
