The Opportunity
We are seeking Year 3 and Year 4 Electrical Apprentices who are passionate about building a long term career in the renewable energy and electrical industry. This is a full time role offering hands on experience across solar, battery, and general electrical work under the guidance of qualified electricians and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of solar PV systems and battery storage
- Support qualified electricians with general electrical tasks on residential and commercial projects
- Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with basic testing, troubleshooting, and system checks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values
About You: Our Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
- Interested in renewable energy technologies and electrical work
- Able to work safely and effectively within a team
- A strong communicator with a positive attitude
- Committed to completing their apprenticeship and developing their skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience or exposure to solar and battery installations
- Experience assisting with solar panels, inverters, battery systems, or general electrical work
