What awaits you/ Job Profile | - ·Develop high-fidelity battery module and pack models for shock and mechanical robustness simulations.
- ·Perform explicit dynamic shock simulations using LS-DYNA for battery-level and subsystem-level load cases.
- ·Execute and debug simulations across varying environmental conditions, ensuring accurate material behaviour representation.
- ·Analyse and post-process key performance indicators (KPIs) related to structural integrity and joint performance.
- ·Conduct component-level and subsystem-level simulations for battery modules, enclosures, and mounting systems.
- ·Define and derive custom shock load cases based on real-world scenarios (transport, handling, misuse, etc) and perform special investigations, including root-cause analysis and what-if studies, to address design concerns.
- ·Prepare clear, structured simulation reports and technical presentations for stakeholders.
- ·Collaborate with design, testing, and system teams to improve product robustness and reliability.

What should you bring along | - Strong experience in explicit dynamics and shock analysis, with a solid understanding of transient structural behaviour.
- Hands-on experience with LS-DYNA, including:
- Model setup and solver controls
- Contacts, material definitions, and failure modelling
- Debugging and stabilization of explicit simulations
- Good understanding of material behaviour under varying operating conditions, including metals, plastics, foams and adhesives.
- Experience working on High Voltage (HV) battery systems and their mechanical integration.
- Ability to define realistic load cases and boundary conditions for shock events.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and propose countermeasures.
- Experience in simulation result interpretation and stakeholder communication.
