Manufacturing concern requires ACMA/CGMA / B.Com Accounting/B.Com Management Accounting or B.Com Financial Management (Honours / CTA / MBA) (advantageous SAICA articles or equivalent) with 5 to 10 years progressive post-qualification finance experience and minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment ( essential)

Strategic Financial Manager role reporting to the CFO, focused on cost management, product costing, and management accounting within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsible for driving financial performance, maintaining standard costing systems, delivering commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key focus areas include cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, inventory control, and strengthening financial controls. The role also leads the finance team, manages ERP systems (Sage Evolution preferred), and partners with operations to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ideal candidates will have strong manufacturing experience, expertise in standard costing and BOMs, and solid knowledge of IFRS and South African tax regulations, with a proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
