We are looking for a proactive and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. You will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our team has the tools they need to succeed. This isn't just about closing tickets and resolving incidents; it’s about improving our systems, securing our data, and providing the best tech experience for everyone in the company.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing L1/L2 IT assistance to company employees for software or hardware issues and queries;
- Troubleshooting IT related incidents and problems;
- Maintain company IT assets – including setup and handover of hardware for new joiners, collecting equipment from leavers, replacement of broken hardware, etc;
- Manage information (files/folders/etc.) access as per company policies;
- Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs;
- Monitoring hardware, software and system performance metrics;
- Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems;
- Ensure all devices are compliant with security policies, manage antivirus software, and assist with regular backups and patching activities.
- Documenting processes and activities;
- Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
Your profile:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 support;
Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and hands-on experience troubleshooting network and device connectivity issues using command-line tools;
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems;
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting methodologies;
• Strong organizational and communication skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, team orientation, ability to work under pressure and take ownership of assigned tasks;
• Proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Google Workspace;
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure / Entra ID (user, group and access management);
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM);
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, including device enrolment and management of company-owned PCs, laptops and mobile devices; applying security and configuration policies;
- University degree or equivalent knowledge in the field of Information Technology.
