What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Lead Scout retail network launch and expansion efforts including market due diligence, site selection validation, business case updates, pro forma support, executive approvals.
- Support on-the-ground site surveys to align retail sites with optimal retail locations, strategy, capacity targets, budgets, and brand guidelines.
- Develop and deploy dashboards and reporting templates to track network implementation progress and key market insights.
- Build and maintain KPI scorecard for network performance throughout network deployment.
- Own governance framework for site expansion and new market entry.
- Update Scout network opening plan across different retail formats based on market feedback and network KPIs.
- Collaborate with corporate architecture teams to manage micro market due diligence and updating of cost, capacity, and customer convenience forecasts.
- Work with Finance and Real Estate teams to support site launch approvals and update business cases.
- Engage with Strategy and Marketing teams to align market penetration strategy by deeply understanding competitive segment.
- Work with Digital Products team to manage network addresses and features in central location management system.
- Collaborate with regulatory and legal teams to ensure direct sales operability in core Scout markets.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- This role requires daily attendance in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management/Administration, Business Analytics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in corporate strategy, network development/launch, retail operations, business intelligence.
- Background in market planning, territory optimization, or whitespace analysis—ideally within a multi-unit retail, mobility, or consumer-facing network.
- Hands-on experience with financial modeling, including pro formas, ROI analysis, capital investment evaluations, or unit economics.
- Experience translating complex data into clear business recommendations, including executive-ready storytelling and decision support materials.
- Familiarity with real estate development or site selection processes, such as feasibility studies, zoning research, or site due diligence.
- Experience supporting large-scale launches or deployments, ideally in environments where operations, marketing, product, and finance must stay tightly coordinated.
- Ability to manage projects independently, proactively identifying dependencies and aligning across stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-growth, fast-paced environment with comfort navigating ambiguity and change.
- Skillful at organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; able to build effective partnerships and influence outcomes.
- Willingness to both drive strategic projects and roll up your sleeves as needed—including direct customer interaction when required.
- Automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $130,000.00 - $160,000.00
