Overview
As a Sr. Specialist on Scout Motors’ Integrated Business Planning team, you will be a key player shaping the commercial heartbeat of one of the auto industry’s most exciting new ventures. You’ll support the design and setup of the systems, processes, and strategic rhythms that ensure Scout Motors delivers the right vehicles, to the right customers, at the right time—while driving long-term business value.
This role is ideal for a data-driven contributor who is comfortable with ambiguity and building from a clean slate, while keeping a trained eye fixed on hands-on execution. You’ll interact with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and Retail to turn customer demand and supply realities into an integrated plan that powers growth and agility.
What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Support the implementation of Scout Motors’ Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, defining the details of the end-to-end process that connects commercial strategy, industrial rigor, and financial planning across the enterprise.
- Coordinate stakeholders and decision-makers across Sales, Production, Finance, and Operations to drive a data-backed planning cadence.
- Contribute to long-term demand forecasting and constraint-management models that connect customer insights with supply capabilities.
- Partner with IT and data teams to ensure ready-to-go planning systems and tools that will enable transparency, scenario planning, and executive-ready insights.
- Facilitate the executive planning rhythms, ensuring that Scout’s leadership team has the visibility and insights needed to make confident, integrated business decisions.
- Incorporate dynamic market signals — from reservations and configuration trends to field intelligence and macroeconomic indicators — to create and refine forecasts and drive competitiveness.
- Identify and secure useful data and translate it into strategic actions, ensuring every planning cycle advances Scout’s commercial and brand objectives.
- Support storytelling and consensus-building efforts, turning complexity into clarity in a fast-evolving business environment.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 5+ years of experience leading OEM sales forecasting, demand planning, or integrated business planning within automotive or comparable manufacturing environments.
- A proven ability to define and manage projects, engaging stakeholders in an energized and organized way to accomplish clear objectives on time.
- A strategic mindset with strong analytical and technical depth, comfortable leveraging data tools and systems to inform decisions.
- A track record of driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Production, Finance, and Retail operations.
- Experience creating and refining forecasts using multiple diverse data points, with a view toward adapting artificial intelligence and automation over time.
- A bias for collaboration and innovation — you build bridges, not silos, and see ambiguity as opportunity.
- A desire toshape the future of an iconic American brand as it redefines capability and electrification in the modern era.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $130,000.00 - $160,000.00
