We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale renewable energy projects. The role will be to join a specific business line project team within the company and support the complete technical needs of the covered projects by the department.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and optimize electrical system designs for renewable energy projects (BESS, PV, Hybrid), including medium and high-voltage power systems;
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy yield analysis to optimize project design;
- Manage grid connection requirements, liaise with utilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards;
- Define technical specifications for electrical components (transformers, inverters, switchgear, cables, etc.) and assist in procurement processes;
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure safety, quality, and performance;
- Work closely with civil, mechanical, and project management teams to ensure project success;
- Lead technical conversations with manufacturers of equipment;
- Lead technical conversations with the clients;
- Supporting the contracting team in the preparation of complete technical package.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
- Strong knowledge of power systems, grid interconnection, and electrical design tools (PVSyst, AutoCAD, etc.);
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools, particularly Excel and Outlook;
- Previous experience in large-scale utility solar farms, wind parks, BESS or hybrid renewable systems is considered as an advantage;
- Strong command of English;
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed;
- Driving license.
