PV Project Engineer, Solar & Commercial Products
Job Description:
We are an internationally recognized third-party certification organization. We support solar power generation projects using our extensive expertise in the solar power industry and global network.
Securing adequate funding through appropriate methods is essential for the success of solar power plant projects. Investors and related financial institutions want investment targets to be projects that are technically sound and highly profitable. We provide highly specialized technical due diligence services for solar power plant projects.
As a project advisor, we evaluate from a third-party perspective whether contractors and suppliers fulfill their obligations, confirm schedules and budgets, and determine if performance targets can be achieved. For lenders, we provide advice on financing, analysis services, testing services, and engineering services as an independent third-party technical advisor.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Project management and client communication
- Design review and project-related document review
- Creation of power generation forecast reports and technical due diligence reports
- On-site testing, inspection, and evaluation of solar power plants
Required Experience and Skills Essential:
- Four-year university degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the solar power industry
- Practical experience in solar power projects
- English: Ability to communicate clearly
- Japanese communication ability: Above daily conversation level (JLPT N2 or higher)
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Experience with PV Syst
- Knowledge and experience in wind power and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Knowledge and experience with international standards (IEC, EN, UL, etc.) or local standards (JIS)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, curiosity about new technology, flexibility to adapt to changing environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to travel for on-site work (Location: Throughout Japan, Frequency: 3-5 times per month during peak periods)

Basic Information:
