We are currently seeking for an Audit Manager to join our Audit & Assurance Department.
Role Overview:
As an ESG Audit Manager in our Audit & Assurance Department, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, professional audit services, with a focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) related products. This role involves understanding and evaluating our clients' ESG strategies, reporting, and performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients to enhance the credibility of their ESG disclosures and to support them in identifying and managing ESG-related risks. If need be, you will be supported to do upskilling to transition from financial auditor to ESG Assurance specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ESG audits, including reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of ESG data, disclosures, and reports.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of clients' ESG strategies, policies, and practices in managing associated risks and opportunities.
- Provide assurance on the alignment of ESG reports with relevant standards such as ESRS, GRI and TCFD.
- Work collaboratively with clients to understand their sustainability goals and to assess the integration of ESG factors into their overall business strategy.
- Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and reporting frameworks to provide informed advice and insights to clients and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service delivery and excellent communication skills.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.
- Participate in thought leadership and business development activities related to ESG and sustainability services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or Accounting (Environmental Science or Sustainability education is a plus).
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit (ESG auditing or sustainability consulting is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful solutions.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills would be advantageous.
