What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills for inventory management and purchase orders.
- Valid Florida Driver’s license with clear driving record.
- Ability to work a schedule Tuesday - Friday.
- Proficient skills to read and accurately interpret measurements using a measuring tape.
- Ability to compute fractions and perform basic math calculations.
A Plus...
- Experience in warehouse or stockroom settings.
- Experience operating/positioning large equipment; forklift, cherry picker, etc.
- Experience in warehouse or stockroom settings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to operate motorized cart, large equipment/ trucks, hand, and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors under all environmental conditions and temperatures.
- Ability to transport and move items up to 50 pounds frequently for short distances.
- Ability to ascend/ descend ladders, steps, and uneven terrain, while maintaining body equilibrium while performing various jobs.
- Ability to consistently remain on feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Exceptional visual acuity required, along with the ability to communicate, comprehend and decipher information accurately, using a two-way radio.
- Manual dexterity for standing, reaching, flexibility, and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, stoop, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, climb, jump, dig and prolonged standing.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization on foot and/or by a motorized cart.
- Visual and auditory acuity appropriate plant care for safety and to discern differences in documents/labels.
