About Region 1: EPA Region 1 (New England) | US EPA This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Oversee the development and implementation of enforcement and compliance assurance statutes, policies, and regulatory requirements affecting EPA Region 1. Deliver a comprehensive enforcement and compliance assurance program utilizing the entire spectrum of compliance assurance tools, including but not limited to strategic planning, compliance monitoring, and administrative actions. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Provide oversight and direction for all managerial, administrative, and programmatic functions of the division, including budgeting and communications. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
