This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Provide oversight for the Regional Occupational Safety and Health Program, identifying actual and potential risks and hazards and eliminating or controlling conditions which may be harmful. Plan and conduct safety, health, and environmental compliance inspections of all Regional operations and facilities. Determine and maintain compliance with occupational health and safety government regulations and agency policies; Assist the section supervisor with responsibility for planning, developing, and implementing a Regional health and safety program. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
