JOB SUMMARY: This position is in Region 1, Land, Chemicals and Redevelopment Division. About: Region 1. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Serve as the Deputy Director of the Land, Chemicals and Redevelopment Division (LCRD), providing leadership, oversight and technical direction for environmental programs. Support the Division Director with the planning, organizing, and coordinating of the regional LCRD programs and exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Work with senior-level internal and external stakeholders on environmental programs and outcomes. Oversee resource planning and the management of the programmatic budget. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
