JOB SUMMARY: This position is in Region 1, Office of Regional Counsel. About Region 1. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Review and Resolve legal questions related to federal environmental statues affecting Agency programs, acting as the main legal resource for such issues. Provide legal advice and policy recommendations to Regional Administrator and staff Regional programs. Provide legal and policy advice on EPA enforcement matters, ensure legal consistency, prepare documents, maintain data and supports investigations. Draft and review final agency determinations, proposals and final regulations, and other documents for publication in the Federal Register.
