The Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) acts as a staff resource, lead, and trainer to Personnel Specialists and Senior Personnel Specialists, ensuring our workforce is paid timely, in conformance with departmental and control agency policies and procedures, labor contracts, laws, rules and regulations. The APA serves as an expert resource and point of contact in resolving the most complex departmental personnel issues relating to personnel transactions.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent provides administrative, training, and analytical support for OTS. The APA demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, timely, and exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
