We are currently searching for an Environmental Division Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for the day-to-day production of the company from interfacing with executive leadership team, estimating, sales, finance, management of field operations, supervision of safety, project management, onsite progress, and employee retention.
Job Responsibilities:
- Highly accountable for profit and loss within their business unit and how operational efficiency and execution is running across the business unit.
- Manage he division’s budget, forecasting, and monthly billings
- Strategically drives Business Development efforts for strategic wins and positioning to ensure consistent project flow within business unit.
- Anticipates future trends within their respective market, and implications to the overall business unit by having a strategic mindset.
- Strong relationship building with customers, consultants, and subcontractors, within a specific market sector.
- Develop and maintain effective owner and consultant relationships.
- Look for new business opportunities and strengthen HRS’s presence in the community.
- Strategically positions the business unit to strengthen profitability and progress.
- Responsible for project risk management to ensure all metrics including safety, quality and profitability are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Oversee and ensure that all Environmental projects are successful
- Ensure Project schedules and timelines are being met by production.
- Responsible for interviewing, training, coaching, and monitoring employee performance.
- Responsible for operational excellence and accountability across the business unit.
- Continuous process improvement.
- Demonstrate strong verbal communications skills and professional presence.
- Responsible for the division’s annual business plan and strategic initiatives that support overall growth and profitability.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience with asbestos abatement work and industry
- Strong Business Development skills to fill the funnel and reach revenue goals.
- Thorough understanding of the companies’ policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
- Has the ability to set revenue and profit goals and how to achieve results for the business unit.
- Communication skills and respect from all team members and being direct.
- Strong level of self-awareness, adaptability and knows how to utilize situational leadership skills.
- Must be able to inspire, trust and motivate team members using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship building with external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong emotional intelligence to navigate your own behaviors, but also the emotions of others.
- Must successfully guide teams, communicate clear goals, and facilitate problem solving strategies.
- Strong leadership skills, including but not limited to negotiation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and delegation.
Desired Qualifications:
- A professional degree, preferably in Construction Management or equivalent desired but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years, verifiable full-time management experience in commercial and residential asbestos abatement strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Viewpoint Vista Accounting, & FieldFlo
- Must be able to work in difficult or sensitive situations.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Must be flexible and open to a constantly changing work environment.
- You must pass drug screening, background check, and an MVR.
Salary:
The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year. Salary is to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location where job is performed.
