Environment, Health and Safety Program Manager

THE POSITION:
This position will report to the Vice President, Environment, Health and Safety. It will be a unique opportunity for a passionate, driven EHS professional to gain experience by working on a high performing team dedicated to delivering a best-in-class EHS program and making a positive impact on the data center industry. STACK Infrastructure has adopted a total worker health approach for our EHS program management and seeks a new team member to help implement and manage various projects for both construction and operations safety.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality work products. The candidate will be asked to leverage their understanding of EHS compliance and total worker health to improve STACK’s EHS program, engage with workers and key stakeholders, and continually improve processes that result in a safer workplace.
Responsibilities with include:
· Maintenance and document control of the STACK EHS Playbook.
· Lead and/or participate in site safety committee meetings.
· Coordinate PPE and other EHS related supply ordering and maintenance.
· Manage the AED and First Aid programs.
· Conduct risk assessments.
· Support the internal EHS audit program.
· Participate in incident response and investigations.
· Assist with portfolio-level projects, in support of operational sites. This could include environmental reporting.
· Develop and deliver training.
· Support industrial hygiene sampling, as needed.
· Conduct and evaluate contractor pre-qualifications, manage and deliver contractor orientations.
· Help establish and maintain the emergency response procedures related to EHS risks.
· Coordinate and participate in annual emergency response and active threat drills.
· Develop content and One Point Lessons to share best practices with key stakeholders and the industry.
THE DETAILS:
· Location: Denver, Colorado (in-office)
· Travel: 15%
· Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000
· Bonus eligible
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must pass comprehensive background screening
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Ergonomics, Total Worker Health, Public Health or related field.
· Certificate in Total Worker Health® is a plus
· Candidates with environmental compliance backgrounds complimenting strong health and safety experience will be considered.
· Minimum 1 - 7 years’ experience with health and safety and/or operations.
· Desire and willingness to complete appropriate OSHA and NFPA training.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
