About the role:
This role supports Upstream Planning Managers. Day to day tasks consist of data analytics and performance tracking for critical suppliers. You will attend weekly meetings with assigned critical suppliers for short/mid/long range planning. The role helps manage suppliers and plant escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the development and formulation of long and mid-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to materials planning management
- Works closely with procurement and the plant/operations teams to ensure the appropriate reorder process and timely delivery of materials are in place/contracted
- Collaborates with procurement to develop joint business plans for critical suppliers
- Vendor forecast accuracy; implement monthly process to track, monitor and improve monthly forecast (accuracy and bias) with critical suppliers
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives that balance service, working capital, and costs. Examples include but are not limited to: Vendor Managed Inventory
- Crisis Management/Escalations: assists with developing, driving, and managing supplier escalation process for NAM to drive stability
- Only in case of severe shortage impacting the entire region, work with the plant and task force to minimize customer impact
- Supplier Scorecards: Responsible for monitoring supplier performance and proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Supports performance metrics and standards for all aspects of materials management and implements improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree required
Language: Fluent in English. Spanish is of value.
Experience: 3 Years of experience in Procurement, Operations or Supply Chain Functions (ex. Logistics, Customer Service, Distribution, Project Management); Track record of solving problems and working on complex projects; Working in cross functional teams/roles.

- Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results - solid network management - Change management experience

- Ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Operations, Customer Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance, and interact regularly with senior management regarding goals and accomplishments.
