MAJOR DUTIES: At the GS-5 level, you will: Perform routine and limited assignments pertaining to the scientific missions of the organization. Assist senior staff, project officers, analytical staff, and other staff as necessary. Assist with summary of environmental program information data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations. Perform routine tasks in science studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems. At the GS-7 level, you will: Perform varied but relatively routine and limited assignments pertaining to the scientific missions of the organization. Assist senior staff, project officers, analytical staff, and other staff as necessary. Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program information data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations. Perform science studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems. Prepare initial recommendations for solutions to be reviewed by higher graded staff. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
